Honouring the Past...In 1918 Sir Walter Burley Griffin, the same person who designed the layout of Canberra, drew up plans for a new port city at North Arm Cove. If you google North Arm Cove, a similar road system can still be seen today, with its large circular network and boulevards. The intention was always to build a community, with 4000 lots subdivided.
Building the Future...The PRIMARY GOAL of the North Arm Cove Rate Payers Association is to have our land rezoned so that we are able to develop it using innovative, sustainable technologies to reduce impact on the environment on which we plan to live, honouring the vision that began back in the early 1900s.
